The Spirit of Ring Road

Kuerner's Farm is the spirit of Ring road, long before the Kuerners it was Ring Farm and long before any such farm, this piece of ground has pulsed with the same haunting vibration.

The white horse who stood along the fence was like the figure head of the spirit that has long been felt drifting through these rolling hills. When Andrew Wyeth began to paint here a a young man, I am sure it was that spirit which drew him in again and again. I came here, I thought, in search of Andrew but I too was captured by the spirit.
