Mr Kuerner Watching The Sky

Mr. Kuerner is a hay farmer. His work days are governed by the sun or rain. On cloudy or rainy days, I would find a shelter to get myself out of the rain while I worked finishing up paintings. On these days Mr. Kuerner would often show up saying he could "set" for me. I always dropped what ever I was working on, to start another portrait of him. This title "Mr. Kuerner Watching The Sky" is about just that. He is trying to guess the weather. The last thing he would want would be to cut hay and have it rain before he could get it baled and put in the barn.
