Ambiance

This scene was down in Sarasota Florida on Siesta Key. It took me a while to find things there to paint florida. Most of Sarasota was not what I would call an artist's paradise. At least not what could be easily seen. I guess I was hoping for Key West. A few places like this kept me busy until I found the old fishing boats at Blackburn Point. I think I was hoping the owner of this boutique would want to buy the finished painting. I did still have to make a living. I remember she could not have been less interested. Considering the fact that I was not truely inspired to paint this, It still came out pretty nice.
